Jill's Chocolate Chip Cheesecake Recipe

Aloha!

Today I am making a chocolate chip cheesecake by request of our friend's daughter for her birthday.  The best Cheesecake that I have eaten (which was homemade), was made by my sister.  After the birthday girls request, I called my sister and she sent me the following recipe.  The Cheesecake is more solid like a cake but still very rich and sweet like a gel type cheesecake.  I added a few more chocolate chips then the recipe called for.

Ingredients
1 1/2 cups finely crushed Oreos
1/4 cup butter, melted
3 (8 oz) packages cream cheese, softened
1 (14 oz) can sweetened condensed milk
3 large eggs
2 teaspoons vanilla
1 cup mini semi-sweet chocolate chips, divided
1 teaspoon all purpose flour

Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 300 F
2. Combine cookie crumbs and butter in a small bowl, press firmly into bottom of ungreased 9-inch springform pan
3. Beat cream cheese in large bowl until fluffy.  Gradually beat in sweetened condensed milk until smooth.  Add eggs and vanilla; mix well.
4. Toss 1/2 cup chocolate chips in small bowl with flour to coat; stir into cream cheese mixture.  Pour into prepared pan.  Sprinkle remaining 1/2 cup chocolate chips evenly over top.
5. Bake 55-60 minutes or until set.  Let cool before chilling.  Add toppings as desired.
